1. Cooked Eggs and Skinless Chicken (the absolute best)

This is definitely the best and #1 human food that totally shareable with your fur babies. Must be thoroughly cooked i.e if you wouldn't eat it, it is probably best you don't feed it to your cat(s).

There is however a side note to this, because of the high concentration of chicken and chicken by products in cat food and other products, the most common food allergy amongst cats is a chicken allergy. If this is the case DO NOT feed your cat chicken. Signs and symptoms of a food allergy are red irritated skin (mostly seen inside ears), bumpy skin, excessive scratching, vomiting, swelling of nose or lips (if your cats nose is swelling please take your pet immediately to the nearest animal hospital as this could be life threatening)

2. Lean Deli-Meat

Definitely a hit in my house, you are pretty safe in terms of variety as long as it is not seasoned. Ask your local deli associate whether or not the meat has seasonings

3. Cooked Salmon or Tuna

Cooked and/or canned salmon and tuna are a great treat for for your cat and they usually can't get enough, but, with that being said they should not have a steady diet of it. There are trace amounts of mercury found in salmon and tuna which in higher doses can be lethal to your pet. As an occasional treat is the best way to serve tuna and salmon.

4. Plain Oatmeal

This is high in protein and has other great nutritional qualities. It can help with some digestive issues, just make sure it is not mixed with milk, and doesn't contain added sugar.

5. Watermelon/Cantaloupe/Honeydew (no seeds)

As long as you make sure there are no seeds (because they are hard/impossible for your cat to digest it also poses a choking hazard)

Your cats will either love it or hate it, there doesn't seem to be allot of in-between on this one.

6. Carrots

Cooked or raw carrots are safe all around, but from personal experience I can tell you that a raw carrot is more appealing as a toy than a snack.

7. Cucumbers

With Cucumbers it is best to remove the skin before giving to your cat. The skin can be hard to chew and could pose a choking hazard.

8. Hard Cheese

Cheddar and other hard cheeses are safe for consumption in small doses. In larger doses it poses a risk for some gastrointestinal issues such as constipation.

9. Pumpkin

Again safe just try to avoid the seeds. Perfect for this time of year, so no worries about your fur baby participating in pumpkin carving fun.

10. Bananas

Great source of vitamins and a huge hit when whipped
